The lands between
The peoples of this land have many names for it, however a common collective term is Centre Earth. While this term is understood by all the various nations, its origin and meaning are not agreed.
Some say it refers to the human lands that sit between the Gods above and the underworld below. Some say it is a metaphysical description of the current state of existence. Some say it is a geographical term meaning that other lands lie to the East and West or to the North and South, again no-one knows nor agrees. Yet the name holds currency with all.
Other variants include the ancient’s “Midartha” and the old tongue’s “The Middle Kingdom”.
