Scotbite

Scotbite is a tribal kingdom populated by a people rumoured to be a blend of Battalogians and an older indigenous race.

They are divided into sub-tribes or clans based on family ties. The king is from whichever clan is dominant, although there are many multi-generational disputes which sometimes manifest as blood feuds.

Their army are warrior-farmers based predominately around the use of pike armed infantry. They also have some good archers, unusual in Battalogia where the javelin is the preferred missile. Their few mounted troops are similar to other Battalogian cavalry, fighting with javelins and shields.

The previous king of Battalogia was the Scotbite, King Charles, who fell in battle to the current King, Lewis of Latmar. The civil was recent and not entirely over.
