Dalvor

Dalvor is a vast land of sweeping deserts and beautiful coastal plains.

The people consist of various groups who are ethnically distinct from the rest of the continent and are believed to have migrated over the centuries from the south.

The King and Queen rule Dalvor with a firm but compassionate hand. They value learning and science and under their patronage the capital, Klogen, has become a magnet for scholars of all kinds; writers, philosophers, mathematicians, alchemists, healers and some say magicians.

All religions are tolerated but the state religion follows the teachings of Moh, the brother of Gud. Moh’s teachings are similar to those of Gud but disagree on several
key points, they both preach the existence of one god but Moh says his brother made some things up. There is also a sizeable following for the secretive older religion or cult of Zastoer, which worships fire as a central element.

Dalvor fields a very professional army centered around armoured bow armed horsemen, supported by other horse archers and a large array of other troop types.
